Nu-Metal Finishing specializes in plating refractory and composite metals, such as tungsten, molybdenum, copper-moly, copper-tungsten, Thermkon® and other composites.
We also have gained extensive experience plating various precious metals on titanium and Nitinol. Surface preparation includes specialized chemical and blasting as well as clean firing to hold extremely tight tolerances. Our large furnaces enable sintering in controlled atmospheres to ensure plating adhesion for any rigorous application. In our class 100 cleanroom we can rinse, bake, and package parts in nitrogen-purged vacuum.
